No longer available - Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate for 40£
Hi erveryone,
Microsoft is selling Office 2007 Ultimate in their "Ultimate Steal" promotion at http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/. The offer ends in 5 days so have a look if you are interested.
It containins
Its for both Windows XP and Vista (all flavors, even the 64bit ones), you only pay for the serial and then download the actual software for free from Microsoft.
This package usually costs about 400£ even in online shops.
The offer is for students and university staff.
How to get it:
There are other ways to get Office for less then retail price but with a lot more hoops to jump through. So don't worry if you don't grab it before the promotion ends.
Any questions, post them here or (old style) see me in real life.
Take care
Martin

How to get it:
- Go to the ultimate steal website at http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/.
- You can either buy it for 38.95£, or rent it for one year for 12.95£, just click the according "Grab it now!" button.
- You are then asked for your University email address. Don't use your private address because Microsoft checks your Student/Staff status based on this address.
- They send you an email within a couple of minutes with a temporary password, just click the link and you'll get to the online shop.
- Pick either buy (for 40£) or rent (for 13£).
You can also "buy" additional downloads for ~5£ (this is if you want to download it again at some point. Not worth it i think, go for the DVD) or a "Backup DVD" with all the bits and bobs on it for 9£. - Once you enter your payment details you'll get your new and shiny Office serial number and a Download button.
- Either download the ~500mb file or ask me nicely and I'll borrow you my DVD
